A few years ago I started a daily painting habit. Each morning I start, and try to finish, a small painting or collage in 1 hour (with my first cup of coffee). Not only does this give me more practice, but I am also able to experiment with ideas and subjects, techniques, colors, and themes.  Because I am not investing a large amount of time in each painting, I can sell it, give it away, or paint over it immediately, without being "married" to the piece. I post them on Facebook, Instagram, and Etsy for sale. Each painting measures between a 6" x 6" to a 12" x 12" at the largest. They are priced moderately, at $85-$175. Here is a sampling:
